what should I do after 5 years of EEA family permit

Post by herald888 » Thu Jun 14, 2012 1:43 pm

Hi,
As a non-EEA national (wife of EEA national) on a 5 year family permit that is due to expire in 2 months and during the 5 years of stay, I was in abroad altogether for 8 months due to family reasons. I just wonder if I am able to apply for PR or do I have to renew my EEA family permit for another 5 years?

And also my husband is self-employ for the whole time, is that going to effect my applications, I am doing full time study degree and has been working in pervious time.

Many thanks!

You don't have to do anything, or you can apply for another residence card, or you can apply for permanent residence.
