FLR(M) - Spouse Visa - Difficulty in making Application?

Post by darrenbgray » Sat Jun 16, 2012 6:07 pm

I am about to make an application for a Spouse Visa using form FLR(M). My case is straight-forward and we meet all the necessary criteria. We are proposing to fill the form in and submit by post.

Does anyone have any advice? I have spoke to a few firms offering document checking for £400 or a complete service for £700. Is this really necessary? They give the impression if you make a genuine mistake the application will be rejected and you will lose the application fee. Is this really true?

If your case is straightforward there is no need to pay someone to complete the forms. Have you thought about getting someone to check your forms like a friend who can read it through and notice any obvious errors. if there is a genuine error discretion may be used when looking at your application but you do not really want to run that risk.
