Discrepancy with Payslips versus Bank statement

Post by ssanagala » Sun Jun 17, 2012 9:39 am

Hello Seniors,

I have my Tier 1 (G) extension in Oct-12 and i would needs 85 points for the same.

I am on contract work for 12 months.

Initial 6 months i was with umbrella company. I had claimed expenses (house rent/ mileage) for 4 months and my gross income on payslip had a serious beating.

I did realised this later and have requested my umbrella company to cancel all my previous expenses. They did and re-calculated my whole income with Tax (i was overpayed and owe 2,800£).

Now my payslips (new ones) do not match with my net pay.

I have clarification letter from the umbrella company and pay slips (old and new).

Now my big question is, will the case worker be convinced (i have my P60 supporting my actual income and tax that i paid).

Explain the details of the discrepancy in your covering letter. That should help case worker understand it a lot better.
