How long it will take for a decision at a PEO?

Post by fific » Sun Jun 17, 2012 7:32 pm

I have an appointment this week to apply for indefinite leave to remain at a PEO. However in a couple of weeks I have booked a holiday overseas. I know the majority of decisions are made within 24 hours, but is it too risky to take this chance? I am applying as a Tier 2 migrant, so I feel my case is fairly straight forward, but just wondering if I should change my appointment til after my holiday? Thanks for your help.

If you are applying at the PEO, you do it on the basis that your application will be decided there and then. If you don't think your application is straightforward you should consider making a postal application. If your application at the PEO is not decided there and there, frankly it's anyone's guess as to how long the eventual decision may take as there are no fixed time periods for this.
