out of country biometric appointment times

does anyone know how far in advance you can book a biometric appointment in New Zealand? I will have to travel and it would be useful to know whether i can expect a next day appointment, or if it will be a few days until I can get an appointment.

Where can i find this info?

does anyone have any idea of the lead time when booking a biometric appointment in Auckland NZ or how to find this out?
