Hi there, I'm really hoping you can help me. I have been surfing the net now for months looking for help and advise on sponsoring my spouse from Peshawar, pakistan. Just before i went to get married in January of this year i was told by a solicitor what documents i would need to make an application. I was also told that my income was not an issue. About a month ago i went back to the same solicitors as i my husband has finally got his ielts test certificate, just to clear with them again about the paper work i would need to send the application to him. This time i was told that i don't earn anywhere near enough to be able to sponsor him. As you can imagine i was devastated. My friend then recommended a solicitor to me and i went to see him straight away. Once i got there he told me that i needed to get all the relevant documents together so that we can send it ASAP as the new immigration rule starts on the 9th July and then i realy won't be able to sponsor him then.. Anyway, I thought the whole point of a paying a solicitor was that they do most of the work.. I really don't know what my solicitor's role is as he's left all the work to me but I just know that i'm in a right pickle and i'm scared and SERIOUSLY need HELP!! So If anyone can help me with anything regarding sposoring your spouse and has any templates for ANYTHING that would be fantastic.
