ILR for spouse and new born?

Post by gaur_mohit » Mon Jun 18, 2012 8:17 pm

Hi All,

I am on ILR since March'2011.

My wife came here in Dec'10 on Tier1 Dependent Visa. She switched to FLR(M) on March'2011. Now, we are expecting a baby in Sep'2012 and I don't want to apply British Citizenship for new born.

Can my wife and new born kid apply together for ILR in Dec'2012 as my wife will be completing 2 years in Dec'12(Tier1 dependent+FMR(M))?
OR
Should I wait until March'2013?

Also, can my kid apply along with my wife as dependent or Do I need to apply something else for kid?

Your response will be appreciated.

Thanks.

1. Q13.
2. Include the child in wife's application.

Note that any UK-born child subsequent to a parent's ILR will automatically be British.
