Hello good people,

I just learn spouse visa holder needs to qualify for 5 years to get ILR since 9/7/2012.

My spouse visa EC is 24/9/2010 and valid 24/9/2012. Now I'm very confused if i'm qualified to apply for ILR on/after 24/8/2012. Please kindly inform your advice. Cheers.

You, and anyone else who was issued leave before 9/7/2012 will stay with the current rules, so can apply in August.
