Hi
New poster here, so apologies if there have been other questions on this before. Also, I don't want to be rude, or question anyone who is offering advice - it is all appreciated - but how reliable is the advice I will receive on here?
Basically, my wife has a spousal visa which expires on 12th September and so we are about to apply for ILR. We want to do it in person at the Glasgow office but cant get an appointment until the end of July. There don't appear to be any available in August or early September either. Her brother is getting married in Canada in early August, so if we get the ILR granted at the end of July, it seems unlikely that she will receive the biometric residence permit before we would have to leave for Canada. As her spousal visa is valid until September, could she re-enter the UK on that visa, before getting the biometric pass, or would she run in to problems.
Ideally, we would just wait until after the wedding and take an appointment in mid August, but there aren't any available. Do they get made available later (like in July) or are they just all gone, as there don't seem to be any at any office in the UK.
Any advice you can give me is greatly appreciated.
Cheers
