Italian Immigration

Post by globalgal1029 » Tue Jun 19, 2012 12:00 am

I am currently trying to get a visa to stay in Italy(Naples) with my boyfriend who is an Italian citizen. I was just wondering if anyone could give me any help or tips that would make the process easier. I have done some research and I know that I would need a employer to offer me a job before I could get a work permit in most cases. I was also looking into a student visa and if anyone could tell me if language schools qualify for this type of visa? Sorry if this has been posted before and for the multiple questions asked. Thanks again. :)

I liv here in Italy and i know the easiest way to get a visahere is if you are married since your boyfriend is italian.

The other option of language school is really not an optio as the ywill require you to pass an exam Italian language and you process your visa from where you are presently from the Italian consulate. Language schools around Naples hardly qualify for visa as theyare poorly run here. Hope this helps

We have talked about simply gettting married but if it was possible I would rather go about it another way. So they require you to take a exam in the Italian language before issuing you a student visa?
