Tier 1 (General) dependant Visa Appeal

Post by holla007 » Tue Jun 19, 2012 2:24 pm

Please can someone help me on how i can appeal against this refusal and what sort of document can i attach to the appeal. The refusal wordings is as follows:

"You have applied for entry clearance as the dependant of your husband who is a Tier 1 General Migrant in the UK. In support of your application you have provided Marriage Certificate which shows you married 2 weeks prior to her visa application. You have also submitted3 photos of you together, all of which appear to have been taken recently. I note your husband appears to have been resident in the UK for several years. However, you have not provided satisfactory evidence of contact or correspondence between the two of you from before your wedding. Given the foregoing, I am not satisfied that your relationship with your sponsor is subsisting or that you intend to live with your sponsor as required by paragraph 319C (d) and 319C (e) of HC395.
I have therefore refused your application because I am not satisfied, on the balance of probabilities, that you meet the entire requirement of the relevant paragraph of the UK immigration rule"

All effort will highly be appreciated
thanks
Holla

Which country did you apply in?
Were the 3 photographs you submitted taken at the wedding?
Did you provide any other evidence of the wedding?
Life isn't fair, but you can be!

Hi
the country was Nigeria, and the pictures were the wedding pictures, but no additional documents were submitted.

One more question -

Did you claim in a covering note or (if a question to the effect was asked) in the application form that you knew the principal migrant before you two decided to marry and had been in touch with him/her ever since?
