FLR M-Funding requirement and UKNARIC

Post by send2archan » Wed Jun 20, 2012 8:48 am

Hi,

My wife has recently moved to the UK in April 2012. I will be applying for my ILR in Sept 12 but since we are newly married (<2 years) my wife cannot apply via the SET (M) form. She will therefore be applying for FLR (M).

1. Her qualification was from India. I checked the UKBA points calculator and it shows that her University is listed for which she can earn 30 points or 35 maybe) for her Masters. I will also get the NARIC letter. Do not know if the letter will say whether her Masters is taught in English though. Is that enough?

2. What is the funding requirement? When I applied for her entry clearance (under Tier 1 General Migrant Dependent), I had to just show a balance of £533 for 90 days. Can you please tell me how much it will be for FLR (M)?

3. On 13 June 2012, UKBA announced that the probationary period for married couples will be increased to 5 years (previously 2 years). Will that be applicable for us since my wife got her entry clearance in April 12?

regards
