tier 2 extension 2 year or 3 year

Hi, i had my initial tier 2 visa granted in nov 2009 and in this nov 2012 , i will be extending my visa. Can someone please shed some light ,that during extension will i be granted 2 year extension or 3 year extension?

Leeloy is correct. For some inexplicable reason I read the thread as being Tier 1 rather than Tier 2.

Hi leeloy,
i read some contrasting post in regards to the extension as been granted for 2 years in this forum. I did read tier 2 guidance as well and over there its been written as for 3 years, thats why coz of this contrasting information i was confused. Anyway thanks everyone for there reply.
