E-ISA letter from bank (maintenance) - conditions required?

Post by nicky81 » Wed Jun 20, 2012 10:20 pm

Hi,

Does the letter from my bank providing my balance over 90 days need to specify the conditions of the eISA? It’s a flexible one and I can move money in or out online without notice.

I haven't seen anywhere on the guidance it's necessary but it seems like some people have had problems with fixed deposits. Do they just know eISAs aren't fixed?

Any advice gratefully received.

Double-posting but realised I had a couple more queries. I know these are such fiddly points but this process makes me paranoid!

1. It asks when my visa was issued (D3). I only know the ‘valid from’ date – it was issued a few months before but I don’t remember the specific date and it’s not on the visa. Assume I put the valid from date?
2. D4 - Is the existing visa reference number the VAF number (6 digits)? Or the one in red above? (7 digits)
3. D28 ‘Was this application submitted before the applicant’s leave expired? YES it’s still valid but followed by D29 ‘Has the date of the applicant’s leave, as stated in his/her passport, now passed’ – isn’t this asking the same thing but the opposite way? So NO the date of the leave has not passed, is that right?

Thanks for any thoughts!
