Dilema,help please

Post by masoud_ahmad » Wed Jun 20, 2012 10:50 pm

Hi,

I need some help and answer please. My 5 years are completing on 3rd of august 2012 & i will be eligible to apply for ILR after 6th of July 2012. As most of you know new changes on 9th of July(Monday). I have to apply on 7th of July probably by post which is Saturday. And Home Office will probably receive my application on 9th of July.

Will mine & my dependents application for ILR will considered old/current rules or the rules of 9th July?

Thanks in advance

The new rules don't affect you or your family. You can apply after July 9 if you so wish and it will not matter.

Thanks for the answer, But the new changes (9th July) will not affect the current TIER1 applicants and dependents who are just transfering into ILR?

Probably changes will affect to TIER1 Dependent Spouse and dependent children.

Thanks.

Well read it all and that way you are covered. I've got to make dinner for my kids now and I can hardly tell them that it has to wait because some anonymous guy on the internet it too lazy to read something.

Hi Lucapuca,

I cannot reply on the other post (locked). I have asked the question is, i need to clarify about my spouse ILR? If you can kindly answer the 2 questions below please, rather than sending a link. thankful to you.

Me and my wife got:
HSMP on 18-07-2007 (For 2 years initially,till july 2009)
Me Landed in UK: 03-08-2007
Got Extention: September 2009 to September 2012

Wife Got HSMP: on 18-07-2007 (For 2 years initially, till july 2009)
Landed in UK: September 2007
Left UK to visit back home: September 2010 (Out for 10months)
Return UK: July 2011 & since then continue living together
Children both born in UK
Wife just out from UK: 10months

Q1: I am ready for applying ILR for me and all 3 dependents. The condition for Spouse is 2 years time stayed together continuous before ILR or any time from last 5 years (like my case)?

Q2: We can show documents for cohabitation after she came back in july 2011 (not 2 years old) but do we have to show the cohabitation documents when she left in 2010 i.e. 2 years old.

Thanks
