FLR(M) and VAF2 spouse+1 child Maintenance Requirements (min

I have two very different questions regarding maintenance requirements for UK spouse visa from within and from outside UK:

(a) An ILR holder needs to apply for a settlement spouse visa from within UK for a partner and a child who are currently on a work permit dependant visa. Do they have to prove a minimum level of maintenance funds in UK. Is there a min threshold like you have for PBS dependants.

( is there a minimum threshold of maintenance funds to be available in the account of sponsor who is a work permit holder in UK to obtain spouse + child dependant visa from Pakistan?

My own understanding is the minimum level of funds available in both cases should not be less than income support threshold for a UK family. But I don't know the figure?


Please comment if the availability of funds is less then three months?
