Change from Student Visa to Spouse Visa

My Name is Ayesha Rasool. My visa was expire on 26 Dec 2011 and I already applied for visa Extension. It is now June and I still not received my visa. I want to marry here. Registration office need my passport for registration. I need advise if I withdraw my current application as student and re apply on spouse visa, What step I need to do. Is there are any possible way for me to do because I am very stress about my visa. Please give me advise about this matter.

Have you bothered to ask why you application is taking such a long time to process? If you withdraw the application you will not be able to vary your current application to partner (assuming your parter has an immigration status that would permit you to switch).
