Minor error in ONLINE application - now what?

Post by mrsclc78 » Thu Jun 21, 2012 3:50 pm

Hi there,

I'd appreciate pointing in the right direction - I've done a search for this info on the boards here but I've not been able to find a similar issue.

I just uploaded my electronic application FLR(M) and printed off the copy to send in the post.

To my horror, I realised that, despite my careful checking, there is ONE digit off. On the date that my spouse and I were engaged to marry, instead of the year 2011, I put December 2012. I'm mortified.

Now what do I do? I cannot find guidance on this anywhere. On the printed copy that I mail in, do I simply note the mistake there? I think it will be obvious what I meant to say, given that we were married in May of 2012, and December of 2012 hasn't happened yet.

But I want to make sure that this error doesn't flag up anything suspicious with this straightforward application.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Kind regards.

Don't worry, you are given the opportunity to amend any errors on the printed copy. Note it there.
