Notice of Withdrawal from HM courts and tribunal dervices

Post by khalid31 » Thu Jun 21, 2012 4:33 pm

Hi

My brother had applied UK visitor visa from Lahore Pakistan. Visa was rejected then we appealled against decision.

Today my brother received a letter from HM court and Justice UK today stating the respondent whom is the visa officer has withdrawn the original decision with a tick in the box next to it.

The tribunal are satisfied that this appeal has been withdrawn

Do anyone know what does this mean? Is my brother appeal has successful?

What will happen next? what I expect from home office and what should i do next?

Thanks

This probably means they will reconsider the original decision to deny the entry clearance.

original descion was visa refusal. Will this not mean Visa officer is satisfied with additional information sent with appeal documents and happy to change his decsion from refusal to granted?

They will examine the documents again including the ones in the bundle and if they are satisfied the requirements are met a visa will be issued.
