2 Paid Holiday
30 I was self employed but did not have a contract
1 Paid Holiday
1 Paid Holiday
21 Paid Holiday
5 Paid Holiday
6 Business Trip - Have a letter from employer

ILR Granted!

Post by rahulmisra204 » Fri Jun 22, 2012 4:42 pm

We just returned from Croydon PEO, all documents were returned and they said ILR is granted for me and my wife and BRPs will be sent in 7-10 days. I was really nervous and am glad that the £2066 did not go waste. Now we can plan a long due trip to India!

I have been reading this forum without registering for a long time. Thanks to everyone for sharing their experience and my best wishes to everyone who is in a situation like mine.

Hi rahulmisra204,
Could you tell me that the absences which you have listed are outside of the UK? because there are some only 2 days holiday and 1 paid holiday.
What do you mean these? Have you taken holiday and stayed in the UK or gone out of the country?
thanks
mozhi

Hi rahulmisra204,
Have they considered your application on compassionate grounds in relation to your absence?
Did they ask any question about the 79 days out for your grandmother death?

I think they did consider it, I had also attached a sheet listing all absences with dates of arrival and departure and had requested for discretion. I had attached original death certificate of my grandmother. I had also provided P-60s for the entire 5 year period.

I wasn't asked any questions by the case worker. She took all my documents and after about 3.5 hours came back and said the application is approved.
