Finger Prints Question in SET(O) form

Post by dellfan » Thu Jun 21, 2012 11:00 pm

Hello Forum,
There is a question about fingerprints taken as part of a previous United Kingdom immigration application made in the United Kingdom or abroad? in SET(O) form. Honestly, for the life of me can't be sure if i gave any finger prints. Not sure how to go about answering this question. Is there a way we can find out.

Not that I'm aware of, but I wouldn't worry about it. Taking your finger prints will be part of the biometric enrollment process anyway.

I had a similar problem, so when I applied I just answered "yes" (as I vaguely remembered giving my finger prints, but couldn't quite remember which country consulate it was at!). Either way this shouldn't cause a problem, it didn't for me when I applied for my visa extension.

If you cant remember just say yes because in most cases when you are applying for a visa to the UK since 2004, finger prints were always taken. Afterall they will take others during the biometrics so it really doesnt matter whether you had your finger prints taken before or not.
