Applying Tier 1 Extension for dependents Separately

Post by m.asif » Sun Jun 24, 2012 11:29 am

Hi All

My Tier 1 extension is due in August and I am planning to apply for myself via PEO and for my wife & baby separately by post to save some money. I have two questions.

1. While applying separately for my dependents do I need to show maintenance fund £1200 (£600+£600) or £2100 (£900+£600+£600).

2. If my decision is delayed can I still apply for my dependents while my visa is in process?

kind regards

1. There are no joint applications in this category. There are applications that are made at the same time or separately. Each individual application requires its own individual maintenance so if you apply showing your maintenance, your dependants don't have to show that again when they make their applications; they merely have to show maintenance for themselves.

2. Yes
