Private Limited Company sponsoring non EU citizen for work

Hi, I am not sure if anyone has had this question before.

My husband has got an offer from a Pvt. Ltd. Company, which consists of only one person (owner), and he in turn works for a multi national company on a contract.

He has offered to give my husband a job in his company, but is unaware of how the visa should be applied for.

Any help please? Does he apply under the Tier 2 General category?

But since it is a Pvt Ltd company, with just 1 person, what sort of documents does he need to provide for the application?

A Certificate of Sponsorship. You can read all about this in the links.

If you don't want to read them I suggest you pass them on to your husband. What is his immigration status now? For that matter, what is yours?

I have read the whole links on UKBA, long before.

I am not sure under which categorization the company comes under. If it is Pvt Ltd or Self Employed on the link:

He is on a Tier 2 ICT visa, and I am his dependent.

It seems you are asking people to make guesses on the business structure of the entity that wishes to employ your husband. Why not simply ask them?

I just asked, because I thought this forum had a bit more of knowledge. No one comes to this forum knowing what to do. All we know about the company, is its a Ltd company, with the only employee being the owner.

Help how? From the insufficient information you have provided, I have no idea about the circumstances of the entity that wishes to employ your husband and I have no wish to make a guess.
