apply for ILR through lawyer or self? time almost up

Post by ban » Tue Jun 26, 2012 10:06 pm

Well time isn't nearly up, but in Aug is when my limited leave to remain finishes.
I've been told i need to apply for ILR 28days before my limited leave to remain finishes.

I just wanted to know your advices, should I apply through a Solicitor or on my own? because doing it on my own means I may have a higher chance of getting rejected.

Also these London Olympic 2012 stress is getting a LOT of applications rejected.

*Also may I know how to apply for this biometric resident permit? doesn't have application on site.

*How to apple for settlement: should I go for the Form SET(O)?
because I'm not an husband, wife or partner therefore I was thinking that 'Form SET(M)' might not be for me. Although I'm not married yet.

I will be getting in touch to a solicitor to give advice on what I should do. I bet they might say I should use a lawyer to apply for ILR:/

I remember using a solicitor to apply for my settlement application. They kept asking for money, though when Home Office finally gave me a LLR, the solicitor asked me to pay another £500 just to pick up the certificate:/

thank you all, all your helps are always appreciated

There are many dozens of types of such permits/visas.

Who knows what you have got.

Anyways,

Good luck.
