Tier4 visa extension urgent

Hello,
My current student visa was issued to me at the beginning of my undergraduate degree which was to last 4 years. I switched to a three year programme and used the last year to undertake my masters, which ends in September. This visa expires in October and I am looking to extend it using the ukba allowance of 4 months for a 12month course. Is this is good enough reason?

Thanks for your reply.just want to state that I only look to extend for the 4 month period and not for any longer, is it still a bad choice to look to extend?

You are on Tier-4 visa which cannot be extended without CAS. And CAS can only be issued on a valid full time course.
