Travel on indian passport after getting british passport

has anyone travelled to India after getting the British passport (i.e. without getting the POI or OCI card) and come back and then surrendered the Indian passport?

Have you got fined as you did not surrender the Indian passport before travelling to India?

They give 3 months grace period to surrender passport. Check out indian high commission website, they have all the details, including the fines they impose.

The fine is not imposed during the travel..but when you are surrendering the passport within 3months after the travel.

It is not hard to find out how many trips you made on the Indian passport after you got the British passport.
