I am in similar situation

Attended PEO appointment on 22nd june 2012 monday 9am and received this letter by 11am.

case worker told "you will hear from us within a week." ( I really dont know how long it will take )

I still havn't received it.

my case is like below

I had shown pay slips from paid employment since july 2011 and from two companies upto may 2012.

From first company called A showing only two months. july 2011, august 2011

From September 2011 onwards, new company called B upto May 2012.

Interesting thing is in November 2011 the parent company C sold my company B to another company D.

Company D has already had a company E which is competitor of company B

so company D decided to merge company B into company E.

main thing is I was getting pay slip written for company B between september 2011 and december 2011 and from january onwards pay slip written in the name company E.

so I personally feel this was the reason they want to do further enquiry.

Do you know what necessary checks they do and how long it can take to get my documents alond with visa approval letter ?

I have provided hr letter from my first company A where I had worked only two months and hr letter from company D

In any one of yours case, did they contacted HR ? if yes how did they contacted ? by fax or phone call ?

Also do I need to sent anything regarding the merge now.

just wondering what else they need to check.

Went on 19-06-2012 PEO Croydon

Tier1 general extension, but my case worker gave me a letter that my application is valid, but further enquiries need to be made

I am in the same situation. My PEO appointment was on 27/06/2012 and I was told that my application is valid but the entry clearance staff in Delhi did not close my file properly after issuing my visa in 2009 and that they cannot do anything till this mater is resolved. The caseworker said that I should hear from them within 2 weeks but still no reply.

Since my dependents, visa was expiring on 7/7/12 I have applied for them by post as well but I have not received any sort of communication from UKBA.

I called the enquiry line 08706067766 but they say we don't answer queries for applications less than six months old.

Is there any other way we can contact them.

I went to Croydon PEO but was told the same story that we haven't received any information back and can't say how long will it take. No options left at the moment.

Yes I my application was approved on 29th June
I went to peo on 19 June

I called up PEO Croydon today, in regards to my application.
I mentioned to them that I was told during submitting my application that I would hear from them within a week, which I of course haven't.
And its been 4 weeks now.
The guy on the other side asked me to send a hand written letter the PEO addressed to the person who signed the return letter when I submitted my application.
Views? Should I even bother?
