Fiance visa help

Post by apocalypse72 » Thu Jun 28, 2012 12:10 pm

Hi guys,

We are just about to apply for a UK fiance visa for my chinese fiance. I am acting as her sponsor and i have already written the cover letter and signed it and posted it along with all the other documents required by TNT courier to China.
My question however is this, I wrote the original letter in a bit of a hurry and i would like to submit a fresh covering letter with more detail about our plans for a wedding etc.
Now, it is going to be too late in the day to send her an original covering letter so i was wondering if i type up a letter and send it to her as a word attachment via email, will this be acceptable by UKBA? given that it will not have my actual signature on the letter? Many thanks in advance for your advice.

Yes it will acceptable with no problems at all.

If you are so worried about it , write your signature down on a piece of paper, scan it via a scanner and then copy and paste your signature it in your letter
