95 points vs 100 points

Post by gohawks » Thu Jun 28, 2012 2:38 pm

This is my second post. You all helped GREATLY with my first question.

Can someone clarify the 95 point conditions. Here is what the ukba says:

Your total points score must be at least 95 points if you currently have permission to stay in the UK as:

a Tier 1 (General) migrant under the Immigration Rules in place before 19 July 2010

My tier1 visa was issued to me while I was in the USA. Applied 10 July. payment was made 14 July and my visa issued July 30.

Do I qualify for 95 Points ? Someone told me that either way this rule does not apply to me and I need 100 points. Please help.

If you applied on 10th July 2010, you need only 75+20 = 95 points. Read Immigration Rules
