Tier 1 to ILR

Post by jaina » Thu Jun 28, 2012 5:10 pm

Hello All,

I have got Tier1 visa and would apply for ILR in Aug. this year.

I am having a 3 year old limited company.

My question is that I have an outstanding tax bill of nearly £11000 of my company.

Is this going to be a problem. Please guide me for a solution.

Regards

If you have paid any tax (you were liable to) that had a pay by date before the date of application, there is nothing to worry about. If not, then you should pay before making the application.

Any liability for which you still have time to pay (by a date later than the date of application) will have no bearing on the application.
Life isn't fair, but you can be!

Ok sushdmehta,

Thanks for your advise.

In my company tax, £5000 is due by Oct. 2012.

I will file my visa in Aug. And if I clear £6000 by then, will it be ok?

Regards
