Success ILR Family PEO Croydon

Post by nita_stg » Thu Jun 28, 2012 9:57 pm

Hi, wanted to share our experience of applying for ILR today at PEO- Croydon. My husband is the main applicant, and me and our little boy are the dependants. Our application was based on 1 year of work permit visa, 3 years of Tier One and 1 year of Tier One extension.

These were the document that we submitted:
SET(O)
12 months payslips
12 months bank statement
P60 from which my husband was working under work permit
life in the UK test for both of us
birth certificate of our son
marriage certificate
for cohabitation: we submitted last 2 years of council tax and another 12 months of bank statements (in addition to the 12 months bank statement I mentioned above). Note that our bank statement is joined account.
Previous biometric cards
NI cards from both of us
AND copies of all the documents above

Other things to note is that : my husband has only 87 days outside the country and I've been with him ever since we moved to the UK.

We had 10.45 appointment on 28 June 2012. We arrived at 10.10, after security check, payment etc we had our biometric taken by 12.00. We were called to one of the counter by 14.30. The cw asked us to submit all the docs and told us to wait at the waiting area while she reviewed our case. At 15.15, she called us and told us the we've been granted the ILR and that we should receive the new biometric cards in couple of weeks.

I might have forgotten couple of things but feel free to ask questions. Thanks for all the posts in this forum - they were very helpful.
