Hello, I would like to have some advises regarding my future application. I am currently in the UK under a visiting visa, and would like to apply for a settlement since my mother is a British citizen. In my country, I live with my father and my mother is settled in here and is a British citizen. However, I got pregnant from my boyfriend and did not tell my family until I came to the UK and broke the news to my mother. I will be giving birth in July. She then informed my dad who is currently so upset that I have been told that he burnt all my possessions in his house and claims that he will kill me everywhere he sees me because of the shame I put on him.
I did my university degree here. During this time, my dad was sending me at least 1000 pounds a month for my accommodation and expenses, so never worked here. I left officially the country in 2010 after I have graduated and got a management job in my father’s company. However came back every 6 months to see my mother. My dad until recently (2 months ago the time I have been here) was the major sponsor I had since I was working in his company and living under his roof. My mother rather sent me some money at the end of the month but not more than 100 pounds.
Therefore, I would like to have a realistic opinion on my chances to be accepted a settlement under the set(f) form, since I cannot prove that my mother was supporting me financially even thou I have the western union transaction for the past 6 months prior my arrival here. Also if the conditions I am under are sufficient to be granted an indefinite stay.
I know that maybe some would not see it as a big deal but you need to be from an African Muslim family to understand the enormity of the situation.

Put simply - not under Set(F) no.

The rules for a dependant adult are changing on July 9th.

The applicant must, as a result of age, illness or disability, require long-term personal care: that is help performing everyday tasks, e.g. washing, dressing and cooking;
Do you qualify under that?

I'm not sure if there are any other routes for you.

So do you mean i can not apply under the set(f) form because i don't qualify for the requirement? If not, what do you recommend.

Not as far as I can see - others may correct me.

The only path I see open to you is asylum if you really believe your life is at risk from your father.

Perhaps others may have a better suggestion.
