Questions on family immigration From Guyana

Hi All,

My niece and her father are in the process of getting sponsored to come to New York as Permanent Residents. Once they are here my niece will decide if she wants to stay with her father or come to live in Toronto with my wife and myself (her uncle and aunt). My question is once they land in New York how do she get a green card? If she would like to visit us in Canada, would she need a visa since she is a US Permanent Resident with a Guyanese passport?

How long till they are able to get a US passport?

438 views no reply ...well if they getting sponsored to live in the united states so i believe they getting Permanent Resident card(green card) and once your niece got her green card she don't need any visa to visit you guys in canada.
