ILR advice requested

Post by rubzah » Sat Jun 30, 2012 10:16 am

Hi,

I am due for my ILR in August 2012.

I will be applying under HSMP(2year) and Tier 1 General(3 years).

I am employed at an office as Deputy Manager and working as director of the limited company as well.

My salary from employment is around £25K and from my limited company functions my earnings is around £30K.

I have passed my Life in the UK test along with my partner.

Is there any chance that we can apply through PEO? I was recently reading posts in this board and people are refused/turned away at PEO Cardiff and PEO Glasgow working as director of limited company.

Can I apply at PEO Solihull, Belfast, Croyden or Liverpool inthe above mentioned circumstances?

If I produce all the relevant documents from my employment and self employment will I be granted ILR at PEO?

I have met with an immigration advisor and discussed my case with him. He said that generally UKBA discourages people appearing at PEO who are either Self Employed or Director of limited company. They (UKBA) took premuim fees and then put your case for further investagations. You will at the end get your ILR, however, you will pay more and get the ILR in the same two to three months that you are trying to avoid.

I have booked an appointment at PEO Liverpool for 8 August 2012. I can rearrange or cancel it if seniors or moderators feel that I wouldn't be able to qualify at PEO.

Waiting for any advise.

Hi

Well after reading your post carefully and thoroughly I dont really see why can't you apply at the PEO taking the fact in to considerations that you've got all the relevant documents for your application and you meet the other pre requisite like no Crimnal Conviction Etc Etc. Well I dont see any issue with that to be honest with you if you read this forum carefully the forum is full of the experiences from Self Employed People getting their ILRs at Solihull and Croydon PEO that's I am sure about I dont know much about any other PEOs.

I am sorry but I dont really agree with your above statement made to you by your immigration advisor. The beauty and extreme usefull ness of this forum is that you'll be able to come accross atleast 5000 peoples experiences from every where in the UK where as in contrast no matter how experienced your Immigration Advisor is I bet you that he hasn't dealt with as many cases as compared to this forum.

Well I can advice you if you want you still have got ample time in your hands try to get Solihul PEO instead of Liverpool that's all I can advice you remember that its just an advice which is like food in your plate eat as much you like and leave the rest if you dont feel like eating it means just work on it if you like my advice other wise you're the best judge of your decisions.

Please do kindly share your PEO experience with us on the forum.

Good luck for your ILR.
