What is Poor Immigration History?

Post by knowledge_seeker » Sat Jun 30, 2012 11:31 am

I will be eligible for ILR in Sept 2012 on Tier 1 (5 years). I want to submit my application face to face. But one of the clause on home office website says 'person with poor immigration history can not apply face to face'.

I lived outside the UK for 102 consecutive days and overall I have lived 168 days outside the UK. I have doctor's ceritificate and Lab results of my illness whilst i was abroad that refrained me from flying back in time. My question is that does this come under POOR immigration history??

Many thanks
Thanks

Poor immigration history refers to any previous breaches of the rules; it's not about absences during valid, lawful residence.

Nevertheless, your situation is not one that might be considered as straightforward, you might not get a decision on the day at the PEO.
