Student to indefinite

Post by mnalam49 » Sat Jun 30, 2012 5:15 pm

I already spend 8 years in UK and my visa will expire in Nov 2014. My 10 year will complete at least 6 month before of my visa expiry...My question is that when I can apply for ILR. I want to bring my family to UK. They was already there before but their was now expired. I want to know if I bring them now on student visa. Are they will be eligible with me for indefinite or they will have to for some time to get ILR. Is there are any way to get during my last two years.

Its difficult to bring them now as there are so many changes in student visa rules. Wait for your ILR than bring them in UK as dependent of settled person. It will be easier than doing it now on student visa.

On which visa currently you are in UK? If its Tier-4 student visa what course you are studying at the moment and what is the name of your sponsor? (i.e. college/university)
