Tier 2 General Visa Switching.

Hello,

I wish to know regarding the switching of employers inside the UK.

I am currently on Tier 2 general visa, working for a company. But I wish to change my employer here.

Another employer is ready to sponsor me but i have been hearing news regarding some cooling off period.

They say that a cooling off period i.e. 12 months is required, if change of employer happens.

I wish to confirm that switching on Tier 2 visa, inside UK falls under this cooling off period or not?

You will not be subject to the cooling-off period if the new employer assigns a CoS to you and you apply for leave to remain before the expiry of your current leave
