tier 1 general extension-salary paid in cash query

Post by macboi9 » Sun Jul 01, 2012 1:18 pm

hi i have my extension this month
i am paid in cash/weekly and never bothered to deposit it in the bank...
i have payslips and p60 covering the earnings

will i get extension..or is there any thing else i need to make sure the 2 forms of sources are covered

i got my intial tier1 in aug 2010 with the same scenario and no problems....but i was not aware of the rule that time..just went and got visa
but now i read in guidance sheet that payslips and p60 are same ...leaving me with no other option of showing the 2nd source

any suggestions

thx

hi

you can attach employment history letter from HMRC,which shows your employment status and how much tax paid against your NI number during that period.you can ring hmrc to get this letter.

hi
sorry for the late reply
it takes 5 working days to get letter,if you request by phone from any hmrc office.please go to your nearest hmrc office, ask the receptionist about the employment history letter, they shall call hmrc on your behalf.
