ILR query, reg. Job? any help????

hi guys/gurus,

with in few months I will eligible for ILR. I got enough salary to claim points for ILR. but mine is contract job, I don't know I am gonna continue at the time of applying for ILR.

So please let me know is it necessary to have a job at the time of applying for ILR?
