FLR(IED) before HSMP approval

Post by parry » Tue Oct 17, 2006 11:45 am

My SEGS work permit expires on 31st Oct 2006.
I applied for HSMP incountry on 15 Sept.2006.

Got rejection because they didnt find my birth Certificate authentic enough to prove that i m below 28.
I applied again on 16th Oct. 2006 with notarized passport copy.

I understand that i have to fill up HSMP urgent request form or FLR(IED).

Afraid because of intially rejection, i want to apply for extension by sending an FLR(IED). MY QUERY IS WILL I BE ABLE TO UPDATE MY FLR(IED) APPLICATION WITH THE HSMP APPROVAL LETTER LATER ON OR WILL I HAVE TO WAIT FOR TEMPORARY EXTENSION TO COME FIRST
AND THEN DO THE FLR(IED) AGAIN WITH THE APPROVAL LETTER.

If the later is true, it will cost a fortune as i have my wife wid me.... which will make the cost 335 x 4 for filing FLR(IED) ...... my 335 are already wasted as i applied for HSMP again.!!!

plz guide me.. considering the new time FLR(IED) time lines of 9 weeks and HSMP timeline of 5 weeks

Thankz
