FLR(M) help please

Post by Dev9aug » Mon Jul 02, 2012 6:16 am

Hi,

Hope you can help me out. I am going to apply for FLR(M) for my wife and have booked an appointment for premium application at Croydon for 24th July and just seen that there are new rules coming into effect on 9th July. Our history is as follows.

Wife granted Tier 1 visa in July 2008 and I was a dependant
Wife granted an extension in July 2010 with me as a dependant
I was granted ILR(long residence) in March 2012.

I have read the announcements and still not clear if the changes will affect us. Would it be better for us to apply by post before 9th july rather than wait for the appointment at Croydon to avoid the changes coming into effect.

Thanks.

Apply before 09-Jul-12 if you wish your wife's FLR(M) application to be subject to the current rules.
Life isn't fair, but you can be!
