Just A Quick Question

Hi everyone

I have handed my application and documents to Vfs Istanbul 3 weeks ago. I have not heard anything from them yet. Am I supposed to recieve any kind of response(email,phone call,...) from them,that comfirm they have my application and is in process or not necessarily?
