ILR eligibility for my depedents ( Wife and Kid)

Post by arularasang » Mon Jul 02, 2012 2:36 pm

Hi All,

Good to see various messages and experience shared in this forum. This is my first post and please excuse my ignorance if the below query is raised before and answered. if so please point me in that direction.

My query is regarding ILR eligibility for me, my wife and my son born in india.

Question 1
I came to UK on 16th Sep 2007 with work permit and i got my Tier 1 on Jan 2009. I have now renewed the Tier 1 untill Mar 2014.
I dont have a 90 days continous gap but might have 90 days on vacation split across 5 years and i was paid full time during these days.
My question is When would i be eligible for ILR. is that 28 days prior to 16 Sep 2012 or 5 years calculated from Jan 2009.

Question 2.
My wife joined me in UK as PBS dependent on April 2010 and went back to india for maternity on Nov 2010. Again she joined me on August 2011 and still with me in UK as PBS dependent valid until Mar 2014. Just wanted to know when she would be eligible for ILR or what are the next steps.
My son joined me joined me on August 2011 and still with me in UK as PBS dependent valid until Mar 2014. Just wanted to know when he would be eligible for ILR or what are the next steps.

Any help much appreciated

Regards
Arul
