HO did not return hubby ID

i applied for eea1 and eea2 on jan 19th 2012..,it was successful as RC was issued dated 15th of june and then sent to my solicitor,reaceived by my solicitor on thursday bn29th,

but unfortunately my husband ID CARD was missing........had asked him to write a letter stating that the ID card was not included but he said, i shouldnt worry that sometimes they send it when they see it,and that i should write them, that he is gonna take his time to write him....am just going crazy..my question is ,has anyone had similar experiencein d past,any success story on the HO returning the ID card.could it be that the ID card has expired and HO refuse to return it,or that tthey have nisplaced my husbands ID CARD i just wrote to the complaint section, I HOPE THEY RESPOND POSITIVELY..please if you have had such and experience pls do endeavour to share it .just sad as my happiness was not complete

They should have returned it. If they have not, then write to them asking for it. You can get compensation from UKBA if they have lost it: you should get at least the cost of the replacement including your costs. Keep records of all communications!
