Passport expire inquiry for Tier1 G extension

Post by WAQQASBHANGOO » Mon Jul 02, 2012 4:05 pm

My Tier 1 G visa expires on 21 Jan 2013.

My daughter's passport expires in May, 2013. I am think to apply renewal of visa in Jan, 2013. So i have one questions.

1. Can i apply for my daughter's visa renewal becasue her passport validity will be less than 6 months?

I would like to get some refrence from UKBA whether its allowed or not?

Regards

The link which you have posted doesnt say about the passport being valid for six month or not. Becasue this is like a general thing that whenever you apply for a visa your passport should be valid for six months?
Is this not valid for tier01 G extension

If the application can be made with an "expired" passport, don't you think whether a passport is valid for 6 months or less is irrelevant!

Thats good news then.
Is there any link from UKBA itself which can prove it?
There ll be no doubt left then.
