hello.
we are a mix group. 2 romanians and one colombian with a biometric residence permit card for the schengen area (for students/1 year). we want to tour the balcans.
this means our journey starts in romania, takes us by CAR through:
bulgaria
macedonia
greece
albania
kosovo
montenegro
bosnia
croatia
hungary.
for macedonia, kosovo, albania, montenegro and bosnia we want to use the transit visa (max 5 days to cross the country), which theoretically you needn't apply for in advance.
my questions are:
1. does the colombian (he is not the driver) with the residence permit CARD (so no stamp on his passport) benefit such a transit visa without applying at a suitable embassy?
2. how else can he cross these particular countries without having to undergo such a laborious and expensive procedure of applying for a visa, especially since we do not plan to exceed our stay over 3 days in each of those countries?
thank you
