Tier 2 Visa Cancellation Enquiry

Hi,

I would like to seek some information from the UK embassy regarding my Tier2 Intra Company Transfer visa.

I was sponsored Tier 2 Intra Company Transfer Established Staff visa by my ex-employer which was valid from October 2010 to November 2012. But I resigned my job in March 2011 & employer has withdrawn my COS by April 2011.

Hence I would like to know if my visa which was granted till November 2012 is still valid or it is cancelled by UK Immigration upon COS sponsorship withdrawal.

If my visa was cancelled, Is there any way to verify the cancellation date or to get any document evidence from UK Embassy?

When in April 2011 your sponsor reported to UKBA that you ceased working for them UKBA would have written to your UK address informing you that your visa had been curtailed.

If you cannot lay your hands on that letter make a Subject Access Request (SAR) to UKBA for data held by them about you. See:

Thanks for your valuable information. Since I did not travel to UK, I'm not sure to which address my document was sent.

Will my ex-employer will be able to provide some evidence?

The employer's record should show when the sponsorship finished but I'm not sure if they will have information on the curtailment of your visa. Worth a try though.
