Will need a lot more information for anyone to assist you.

What is your nationality? What is your partner's nationality?

Want to move to Belgium, need Visa help.

I am a U.S. citizen. My Partner is a U.S. citizen. We are trying to move to Belgium so that we my open up a small business, a restaurant/cafe. We are not married yet but plan to get married in the future.
We know that we need an extended stay visa, for staying past 90 days, and a professional visa, for starting a business. Does anyone know of immigration lawyers who specialize in leaving the U.S who can help us with these visas? It is hard to find one in America for this purpose.
Would it be easier for us to marry in the U.S. and then immigrate together as a married couple to the EU. Will that marriage be recognized to allow us to enter Belgium together?
Thanks for the information so far.
Kevin
