Cooling period applicability

Hi.
I would like to know the rules around applicability of cooling period while coverting from Tier-2(ICT) to tier-2(general). My wife on tier-2 needs to change visa status to Dependent. While this can be done via a fresh application for LR from outside Uk, while there be a cooling period applied?
That would mean she cannot apply for dependent unless the cooling period expires.

Does your wife want to change her status from T2 ICT to PBS Dependant? Where does Tier 2 General come into this??

yes. I have tier-2(general) . She is on tier-2 (ICT)
So she needs to change from tier-2(ICT) to Tier-2 (G) Dependent.

Does your wife want to change her status from T2 ICT to PBS Dependant? Where does Tier 2 General come into this??

the cooling-off period doesn't apply to dependants, your wife can apply any time (from abroad)
