british citizen student spouse visa?

Post by humapak » Thu Jul 05, 2012 6:39 pm

Hi,

I plan on getting married from my home country next april 2013. the country of my fiance is pakistan and I would like to sponsor her as my spouse to come to the Uk.

I am a student born and raised in the UK and I am planning on studying law at university. I have adequate accommodation as I am a only child living with parents. Parents own two residential properties that I will inherit. what type of chances do I have? like what should I do financially as in how much savings etc?

how much income would I need? considering I am a full time student would part time be sufficient considering I will have financial guarantee from my parents? i also receive the rental income from one of the properties that my family own straight into my bank account and I can use it to do what ever I like etc (shopping, food etc) this is £550 a month.

Will the fact that i would be receiving student grants etc be a problem? (approx 6000 in grants and Maintenance loans)

I can easily cover the living costs as my outgoing costs are near minimum but thought I will gain your lots expertise and views on savings and income etc? would really appreciate all the help I can gain! :)
